Spring assist kit

The spring assist kit is a great option when not wanting to have a motor, especially for larger sized awnings. Because retractable awnings are typically spring-loaded, there can be some torque when retracting the awning in. The spring assist kit allows for easy cranking when bringing the awning in or out. especially for those whose arms are feeling a little weak these days.

Quality of product

Heavy-duty aluminum extrusions, 1-2 mils thicker than competitors. This includes the hood cover, arms and main square bar.  Heavy-duty stainless steel chain system, guaranteed not to rust and part of the strong Frigerio warranties. For roof mounts, we use brackets twice the thickness of others on the market and they are aluminum, not steel like others (we don't like rusty roof brackets). For a small up charge, we can even powder-coat them to match your awning.
